This condition occurs because the password for the SQL Server Startup service or the new SQL Server Agent service account is incorrect. This issue can occur when the account modification is changed such that the password information does not exist for the SQL Server service and the SQL Server Agent service.
Mapping errors can appear for a number of reasons; this most often occurs when the password for the account that ArcIMS normally runs under has recently been changed.

- Update Credentials for a Service
- On Windows, go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
- Right-click the ArcIMS Application Server service; Select properties.
- Go to the In History tab.
- Enter a password for most of the accounts listed in the Password and Confirm Password fields. It may be important to check if personal data has changed recently. Click OK.
- Start the service. When it starts, repeat the steps above for the ArcIMS Monitor and therefore ArcIMS Tasker Services.
